Awhile back I finally came up with the name of the world for the project I’ve talked about. It just came to me, and I knew it was what I’d been looking for.
Welcome to Lastastia! A world brimming with light, and life. It’s a massive planet. Probably about twice the size of earth, but maybe even bigger than that! There are four main continents, with major islands strewn across it, and enormous oceans.
There are lifeforms on it that are identical to those on earth, as well as those that are not. Admittedly, I just create it as I go, though I definitely do think about where I could take the story, from time to time. It’s fun to think about it! Nothing is set in stone, but the name is definitely final.
The title for the whole series is The Falcon of Lastastia. The original series I started back on Xanga was called The Falcon of Isidore. The scope has changed a lot.
The Falcon is the main symbol of the heroine of the story. Isidore was the country she resided in, which came under attack from an outside force. Lastastia is the name of the world, so the main character is no longer the savior of an entire nation, but the entire planet itself!
Now that the name of the planet, and the series is revealed, the next thing I plan to share will finally be part one. I’m hoping to do that sometime next week, but we’ll see! I’m definitely not consistent on here! But come, it shall.
Part 2 is done already, but I haven’t worked on a new part in months. I hope to rectify that soon enough, and I do know what part 3 is about already. I just have to write it! And hopefully have that spark of inspiration guide me!
I’m sorry there have not been any updates about this project in forever. And admittedly, maybe this is too ambitious for a person of my talent level. I sometimes think this too much for me, and that I can’t possibly do it justice. But it is just for fun after all. All I can do is my best, and just see where it goes. If just one person at all is entertained, then I feel I haven’t done too bad.
Anyway, I hope you, dear reader found all of this rambling interesting. And lookout for more to come from Lastastia in 2019!!!
